WEEK 1: Monday, September 19th thru Tuesday, September 27th. 

This is my daily journal of six variables:  weight, water, exercise, ketosis, food, and drops.  NOTE:  Time entries are in hour blocks.  Activity noted took place at any time within that hour block.  I measure my ketosis levels midday.

 Journal Entry.  I am getting in as much fat as I can.  I would imagine that most newbies share the same first load day experience:  wait, what's the trick here?  I get to eat all of this??? That's how it starts.  At the end of the day, the question changes just a bit.  Now, it's:  how the bleep am I supposed to eat all this crap tomorrow?  Bet come Thursday, I'll be dreaming fondly of the 'good ole load days,' as it were.  Sigh.  Can't win for losing.

Journal Entry11:37a: As I consume two whole cups of yummy vanilla bean ice cream, I'm already looking ahead, dreading the deprivation.  Would it mess things up to have THREE load days?  Or four?  OK, OK, just kidding.

Journal Entry.  9:45a:  I must say, it didn't take much for those numbers to creep up.  Even though I know it's food volume weight, as opposed to body mass gain, it's still ugly to see.3:11p:  Minor headache.  Hunger, on a scale of 1 to 10: 3.5. 
9:19p:  Wow.  Not too bad.  Didn't actually food-fiend over the stuff I know I can't have.  One down; forty-one to go.

VLCD DAY 02: (09/22)

Journal Entry.  I suppose I should comment on the 3.2 drop.  I'm not moved.  This is what I think: it has to do with water closet time not any actual reduction in body mass.  Put it this way:  to lose 3.2 pounds in one day, I would have to have had, a what? 11,200 CU deficit?  Impossible, since I sat on the couch all day.  In other words, a deficit means one has fallen short of some mark.  My CU "mark" was only 1500 or so (according to my BMR).  Why would my body have randomly burned an additional almost 10,000 CUs?  I am more inclined to believe that after that Smooth Move tea and some treasured private "reading" time, I, uh, shed (hehehe) 3.2 lbs of chips, cookies, burgers, fries, ice cream, candy, and the like.         

Was so busy I let the time get away from me without eating.  Can't do that.  Should be starved but I'm not.  Phentermine?  Anyhoot, 2 down, 40 to go.
